Thematic Node 3:

Natural Resources, Economy, Governance

The research projects in this category focus on multilevel management of natural resources in light of global climate change, increasing environmental uncertainty and resource scarcity. Special consideration is given to the broader economic, socio-cultural and socio-political dimensions of natural resource management, with the aim of identifying strategies for resource governance that are ecologically sustainable and reflect the full spectrum of influences.

meso-scale, and their impact on household welfare and poverty in Africa
and Southeast Asia

RP15 - Adaptation to climate change
Dynamic social-ecological conditions, resource scarcity and adaptation to
climate change – Actors, resources and livelihoods in Africa and Asia
