The objectives of this PAMS are:
(i) To sensitize important stakeholders and policy makers on risks and measures how to avoid, reduce, and treat POPs and micro-biological pollutants in water, wastewater and soils in a high risk area (Nongr' Maasom).(
ii) To sensitize vegetable farmers on risks and mitigation measures when using treated wastewater for irrigation.
(iii) To build capacity within the community in monitoring the water quality of the effluents discharged into the sewer and to take appropriate remedial action.
