TP: Transversal Package

| Summary: |
The Transversal Package (TP) is a new component of the second phase of the NCCR North-South (2005-2009). As a consequence of the multi-disciplinary Work Packages, which are grouped around specific key research themes addressed during the first phase, the TP was established to provide a comprehensive component that will:
a) Focus on syndrome mitigation in three major contexts (semiarid, urban and highland-lowland);
b) Advance the theoretical, conceptual and methodological foundations of syndrome mitigation and sustainable development research.
