| Summary: |
The primary focus of WP3 is innovative joint research activities to develop methods for integrating health and strategic environmental sanitation in participatory planning processes. The following three thematic areas will be dealt with: (1) Determinants of vulnerability and resilience, (2) Improved environmental sanitation, and (3) Equity-effective interventions to reduce disease burdens. Promising health and environmental sanitation intervention approaches will be explored for scaling up at village, district or national level.
